Welcome to Pokétwo!
Pokétwo is a fan-created Discord bot based on the Pokémon Franchise that enables players to catch, trade, and battle Pokémon in their Discord servers (among other things). Originally created in 2020 as a replacement for the defunct Pokécord bot, Pokétwo has since grown to be the largest Pokémon bot on Discord, with over 3 million registered players in over 800,000 servers.
Whether you want to have fun with friends and see who can catch Pokémon the quickest, collect your favorite creatures from the Pokémon series, strategize to win battles with other trainers, or simply meet new people in our thriving community, Pokétwo has something for you.
Pokémon are here! In this section you will learn everything about the wild spawns, how to catch Pokémon, how to guess them, and so on.

Pokémon spawning is based on the activity of a server. Messages sent by non-bot users count towards a spawn criterion and spawn a pokémon when met.
Messages sent by 2 or more users count towards that criterion faster, so inviting Pokétwo to a server with friends who converse naturally is a great place to start. Otherwise, it becomes cumbersome to manually send messages in order for spawns to occur.
The conditions for the optimal spawn rate of pokémon are as follows, under which there will be a spawn every 24 messages:
When 1 user sends messages
The optimal rate of messages: Send a message every 1.5 seconds
Time to spawn (at optimal message rate): 36 seconds
When 2 or more users send messages
The optimal rate of messages: Send a message, alternating between 2+ users, every 1 second
Time to spawn (at optimal message rate): 24 seconds
Different pokémon have different chances to spawn. There are pokémon that spawn very often and there are pokémon that spawn very rarely. The spawn chance of a pokémon plays an important role in determining its market value.
Here is a list of links you can visit in order to find up-to-date spawn chances of various pokémon and categories (and their catchable forms). They are all ordered by chance (ascending):
To catch a pokémon, when one spawns, you must guess which pokémon it is. This can seem difficult at the beginning but if you catch enough, it will gradually get easier.
After guessing the pokémon, run the command @Pokétwo#8236 [catch|c] <guess>
to attempt to catch it.
Failed attempts do not make the pokémon despawn, you can try as many times as you want as long as nobody else catches it or another pokémon does not spawn in the channel.
Various badges for your profile (@Pokétwo#8236 profile
) and pokécoin rewards can be earned by catching different numbers of pokémon.
Different quests can be completed to earn badges and pokécoins. Please refer to the following table for the pokécoin rewards.
From each region, there is a quest to catch different set numbers of pokémon for the respective amount of pokécoins. For detailed info, please visit our Quests page.

If you don't know a Pokémon's name, or you just don't remember what it was called, you can receive hints to guess it.
To receive hints about a Pokémon's name, the command is @Pokétwo#8236 [hint|h]
. This will show a few letters of the Pokémon's name, which can help you to guess the name.
For example:
Whenever you catch a pokémon, there is a 1/4096
or ~0.0244%
chance of it being shiny. It is important to understand that shinies don't spawn; it is determined after the catch, whether or not it will be shiny.
There are only two ways to increase this chance:
Buying a Shiny Charm from the shop (page 7). This will increase the shiny chance of all pokémon by 20% for 1 week. Shiny Charms can not be stacked.
Increased chance: 1/3413.3
or ~0.029%
Command: @Pokétwo#8236 buy shiny charm
Price: 150 shards (30,000 pokécoins)
By Shiny Hunting a specific pokémon. This will increase the shiny chance of the one particular pokémon that you shiny hunt.
Increased chance: 7 + √(shiny_streak) / 28672
(Without Shiny Charm)
Command: @Pokétwo#8236 shinyhunt <pokémon-name>
More info at Shiny Hunting
When you catch a shiny, this is the message you will see
Shiny hunting will increase the shiny chance, for only the Pokémon that you are shiny hunting, by ~x1.05
at the beginning, and this value decreases and approaches x1
as the shiny streak increases (e.g. it becomes ~x1.003
at 100 shiny streak. and so on). You can shiny hunt only one pokémon at a time.
The command to start shiny hunting a Pokémon is @Pokétwo#8236 [shinyhunt|sh] <pokémon-name>
.
The formula for calculating the shiny chance % at a certain streak is:
With Shiny Charm:
Here is a simple program to calculate the chances at a specific shiny hunt streak
For example, at streak 100:
Deriving from this formula, there is a 100% chance of shiny at around 823,543,225 streak (570,545,773 with Shiny Charm). This big number may look scary, but keep in mind that this number is purely mathematical, and in a realistic situation, you will have caught the shiny well before ever getting even remotely close to this number.
You can always catch any shiny and their chance will not be affected by your shiny streak, nor will your streak break if you catch a shiny of a different pokémon, the chance of which is 1/4096
or ~0.0244%
and 1/3413.3
or ~0.029%
with Shiny Charm.
Pokémon have alternate names in different languages that you can use to catch them. To see the alternate names of a pokémon, check its pokédex using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [pokedex|d] <pokémon-name>
.
So you can type @Pokétwo#8236 catch ヒトカゲ | Hitokage | Charmander | Glumanda | Salamèche
to catch a Charmander.
If you wish to get spawns in a server that is not so active, you can purchase an Incense from the shop (page 7) which will spawn pokémon constantly at regular intervals without any prerequisites.
An incense spawns pokémon every 20 seconds for 1 hour. In total, there will be 180 pokémon that will spawn per incense.
You must either have a role named Incense (not case-sensitive) or have Administration/Owner permissions in the server to purchase an incense.
Incenses cost 50 shards (10,000 pokécoins). You must have at least 50 shards in order to purchase an incense, having 10,000 pokécoins will not count.
To buy shards, do @Pokétwo#8236 buy shard 50
.
Go to the channel in which you want to buy the incense.
Use the command @Pokétwo#8236 buy incense
.
Press the Confirm button. If you wish to cancel, press the Cancel button.
The incense will now begin to spawn. At any point in the incense, if you wish to PERMANENTLY stop the incense, you can do so by using the @Pokétwo#8236 stopincense
command and pressing Confirm.
You can do more than one incense at once but in different channels. You can not stack incenses.
To redirect natural (not incense) spawns to specific channels, you can use the command Pokétwo#8236 redirect #channel1 #channel2 #channel3
with as many channels as you want.
To view the current set spawn channels, use the command @Pokétwo#8236 config
which will list them all.
To reset the set spawn channels, use @Pokétwo#8236 redirect reset
, which will remove all set spawn channels and make it so that pokémon spawn in the same channels that are active.
Pokétwo has 2 different currencies: Pokécoins (PC) and shards. You can check your balance using the command p!bal. By default, it will also appear on the top of Shop. You can toggle this with the command p!togglebal.
PC is the main currency, used for the majority of services including Market, Auctions, and most of the Shop. As it is tradable, it can also be used in Trading.
Shards are the premium currency which can be bought for 200 PC each, and are used to buy items such as redeems in page 7 of The Shop. It is non-tradable and can be bought with real currency at poketwo.net/store.
Catching Pokémon (you earn 35 PC for the first catch, 350 for the 10th catch, 3500 for the 100th catch, etc).
Releasing Pokémon (2 PC each)
Completing quests. (Active quests can be viewed using p!quests).
Selling Pokémon you have caught using the #want-to-sell in the official server, or the Market.(Collectors are often willing to buy bulk amounts of specific Pokémon).
Auctioning.
Auction/Market flipping (this method is recommended for seasoned players who know their prices).
Items can be bought in the Shop, by using the command: p!buy <item name>. To flip through pages, use the command: p!shop <page number> .
The items you can buy in the shop are as follows:
Page 1: XP boosters and rare candies
Used to level up your Pokémon faster than normal.
Page 2: Evolution stones
Instant evolution for compatible Pokémon.
Page 3: Form changing items
Used to change the forms of specific Pokémon.
Page 4: the Everstone, XP blocker, and various evolution items
the Everstone prevents a Pokémon from evolving while holding it
the XP blocker prevents a Pokémon from gaining any XP while holding it
Page 5: Mints
changes the nature of a Pokémon (which alters its stats).
Page 6: Mega evolutions
For most Mega Pokémon. use the command: p!buy mega evolution (this can also be used for Kyogre and Groudon's primal evolutions)
For Charizard or Mewtwo, use p!buy x mega evolution or p!buy y mega evolution.
Page 7: Shard Shop.
Redeems - spawns a catchable Pokémon of your choice. The IV is randomized.
Incense - spawns a Pokémon every 20 seconds for an hour.
Shiny charm - increases your shiny rate by 20% for a week. This can stack on top of other boosts, including increased rates from events and shiny hunt.
To help engage the community and keep spirits high, we've created events! These events happen throughout the year, celebrating holidays such as Christmas and Halloween. And what's better is that anyone can join in to help! (More info on helping with events at the very bottom of the page).
Events in Pokétwo are times of the year where (primarily) our Art Team create different-looking Pokémon for the community to have fun obtaining. There are multiple types of events, so that they're not all the same, and it brings something exciting for the community to look forward to! Everyone involved in the creation of events keep it secret, so that it's a surprise when everyone finds out about it!
Events typically last for 1-2 weeks to ensure everyone gets enough time to join in, and can range in rewards depending on what sort of event it is.
Different types of events include:
-Box Events-
These events will entail the community catching as many Pokémon as they can to receive as many rewards as possible. In these events, different boxes will be dropped, such as the one below, which can be opened by the user whenever they please. Usually, we give another few days after the event has ended for users to open their boxes, however if the user does not open their boxes in the time given, they will be lost.
-Spawn Events-
These events mean that the community have to catch as many Pokémon as they can to ensure they collect each of the special pokemon from that event.
-The Halloween Event, 2020- This event involved quests, the only event so far which has been this way. The community had to complete a set of quests to earn candies, which could be traded in for multiple things. With enough candies, you could pick from Halloween crate boxes, embeds, and Shadow Lugia (which also spawned very rarely normally). A badge was awarded to those who completed every quest.
-What are 'Embeds' exactly?-
-The Very First Event-
This event was released before Pokétwo started getting popular. The event was an invite event where the community at that time had to invite as many people as possible to the Pokétwo Offical Server to earn the best rewards possible. Not expecting the bot to grow so much, there were only 10 Ash's Greninjas handed out, and some Costume Pikachus. Now the bot has grown, all of these Pokémon are extremely rare and worth millions of Pokécoins as they are so hard to find. None of these Pokémon spawn normally.
-April Fools Day, 2020-
To many of the community, this was the most fun and hilarious event we've had yet. We invited random (but trusted) members of the community to get together and form a group of artists, no matter if they had experience or not, to redraw every single catchable Pokémon in the Pokédex. Over the course of 2 days we managed to recreate them all, and release them to the rest of the community, changing every single Pokémon spawn. Of course, all of these new versions of Pokémon ranged in style. All of the artists who contributed earned a designated green role in Pokétwo Official Server.

Special thanks! A lot of these events wouldn't have been possible without our art leader Anoea#3441. The majority of the recent events would've been very difficult to create without her. Several other people have reached out to help with and create event pokemon, these very helpful people are: SuperJedi224 Loki 5H3S ironlegend Haltfire302 Chaotic Havoc Kuraven BlueLego Dagger_Mace HiroWilde and of course.. Everyone who helped with the AFD event! (If you've since helped with the creation of event Pokémon and aren't on this list, please message BlueLego#2332) to be added.
Want to contribute to events? Here's how! If you have any ideas, you can message Anoea#3441, Dagger_Mace#5953, BlueLego#2332, or any of the admins. If you already have your Pokémon idea drawn out, we'd love to see it! Please post it with a message in our DMs, along with any other ideas you have. Alternatively, if you'd like to help out with the art, please DM any of the listed names with some examples of the art you've done in your own time so we can get a feel of your style. For any further questions, please message any of the listed names.
Welcome to The Market!
Basic auction information and commands.
Pokétwo auctions are essentially public sales of a pokémon, where the pokémon is sold to the highest bidder. After an auction is started, people can bid on the auction. The first person who bid on an auction can bid anywhere higher or the same as the starting bid (SB). The next person who bid would need to bid <current bid (CB)+ bid increment (BI)> and so on. At the moment, auctions are only available on the Official Poketwo Community server. The following are the basic auction commands : Starting an auction P!a start (Pokemon ID) (Duration) (Starting bid) (Bid increment) Ex. P!a start 297 12h 1000 100
Auctioning pokemon 297
The auction will last for 12 hours
1000pc starting bid
For the duration, you can use w (ex. 1w) for week, d (ex. 3d) for days, h (ex. 3h) for hours, and m (ex. 30m) for minutes. The maximum duration for an auction is 1 week. Note that bid increment cant be higher than starting bid. After starting an auction, you cant cancel them. P!a lowerstart (auction id) (new start) You can use this command to change the starting bid of your own auction if no one bid on it yet. Searching
P!a s --(You can add different filters here. For more information you can check the filter page) ex. P!a s --leg P!a s --n xerneas P!a s --n popplio --sh --iv >60
P!a s --mi Searching your own auctions
P!a s --bids Using this command, you can see the auctions where you're the highest bidder.
P!a s --o bid+/- --o bids+ to search for auctions with the lowest bid --o bids- to search for auctions with the highest bid
P!a s --o ends+/- --o ends+ to search for auction that would end the fastest --o ends- to search for auction that would end the slowest
Bidding
P!a bid (auction id) (bid) Ex. P!a bid 103483 12000
Bidding on auction 103483
Bid amount is 12000pc
Do note that you cant cancel your bid, so always double-check!

To answer simply, an embed is the different colored bar on the left side of Pokémon. The default embed color is blue, this can be seen whenever a regular pokemon is shown using p!info. However, buying an 'embed color' with candies allowed the community to customise this color to their desire. This was an item that could've been purchased during the Halloween event, 2020. You can use embed colors and change them (if you have one) using p!embedcolor <Pokémon ID> <#hex color>. The 'embedcolor' part in the command can be shortened to 'ec'. So, for example, you can write p!ec 23 #f34e06. (For more information on how to use embed colors if you have one, go ).
This event, as the name suggests, was a fundraiser for the Doctors Without Borders charity. The Pokémon for this event was United Pikachu. Pokétwo's overall donation goal was $10,000. Staggeringly, this goal was met just one day after the event was released. There were different smaller goals within the big goal that opened up different rewards for everyone who donated, these included Pokécoins and an increasing amount of Shiny United Pikachus (randomly given away). Everyone who donated $15 or more was awarded with one United Pikachu. At the end of the event, every donor was awarded a special badge to commemorate. In the end, we all managed to raise over $35,000, over 3 times our original goal, it goes without saying we were totally mindblown by the generosity of the community! (For more info on MSF, go to ).

The Market is a pretty self-explanatory system in Pokétwo where any player can buy or sell Pokémon. The Market is a vast system with over 10 million listings of different Pokémon to choose from! What makes The Market special is that anyone can buy, sell, or even just view Pokémon easily without any direct contact with a buyer or seller. This makes sales quick, easy, and always available to anyone. Let's get into some of the Market basics! Market Searching - If you are looking to search The Market for Pokémon, you can use p!m s to show the most recent page of listed Pokémon (1 page = 20 Listings). If you want to search for specific Pokémon on the market, you can search with filters including: --mine (Shows the listings you own) --o price (Shows the Pokémon you've searched for ordered by cheapest to most expensive) (You can also use --o price- to show the listings of that Pokémon ordered from most expensive to least expensive) --o id (Shows the Pokémon you've searched for ordered by the first listings of that Pokémon) (You can also use --o id- to show the most recent listings of that Pokémon) * These commands above are market-specific, but all commands that are used in Filters also apply to The Market () * When filtering The Market you can use multiple filters to specify listings even further (For Example: p!m s --name Pikachu shows all Pikachus, but you can filter this further by doing p!M s --name Pikachu --shiny filters the market even further to show only shiny Pikachus) Market "Infoing" - When you see a Pokémon you might be interested in, and want to see its stats, you can use p!m info <listing number> and the pokemon's info will show up, displaying stats, experience, and item as if it were your own. (For reference a listing's ID is the number to the left of the small Pokémon's icon. For example, on this listing:The ID is 16214200) Market Buying - When you have found a Pokémon that you want to purchase (We recommend infoing it first to make sure it's what you want) you can use p!m b <listing ID> to purchase that Pokémon, and a message will come up asking you to confirm that you want to purchase that Pokémon. You can click Confirm to purchase that Pokémon, or click Cancel to decline the purchase. Market Selling - One method players use to make money is selling their Pokémon on The Market. You can add one of your Pokémonon to The Market by using p!m add <Pokémon number> <price> and a confirmation message will show up asking you if you want to add that Pokémon for that price. You can click Confirm to add that Pokémon to The Market, or click Cancel to not add that Pokémon. *Note: A Pokémon you listed might not always sell immediately, so your best chance of selling your Pokémon is searching for Pokémon with similar stats and adding yours for a slightly cheaper price, and eventually, someone will buy. (For reference: A Pokémon's number is NOT the same thing as a market ID. When you show your Pokémon with p!pokemon or p!p for short, a Pokémon's number is the left-most number next to the Pokémon's icon. For Example: This Pokémon's number is 1731, so by using p!m add 1731 100 I can add this Pokémon for 100 pc Market Removing - If you want to remove a Pokémon you own on The Market because you want it back, you can use p!m r <listing ID>. After that, a confirmation message will pop up and ask you if you want to remove your Pokémon. You can click Confirm and your Pokémon will come back to you, or you can click Cancel and your Pokémon will stay up on The Market. If you want to find a Pokémon you own on The Market, you can use p!m s --mine to filter the results down to only Pokémon you own on The Market. For Example: If this is a Pokémon you own on the market, you can use p!m r 16214200, and after clicking the confirmation message, your Pokémon will come back to you.

- To favorite/unfavorite pokémon in bulk
You will, over the course of playing Pokétwo, acquire many different pokémon from many different sources such as catching, market, auction, trading, etc. On this page, you will learn the different ways to view and interact with those pokémon.
The command @Pokétwo#8236 [pokemon|p]
is used to view all the pokémon which you own.
This will show you a list of your collected pokémon in the order that is set (default is by ID).
To navigate through the pages of your inventory, you can use the ◀ and ▶️ buttons or use the following commands:
@Pokétwo#8236 [first|f]
- To go to the first page of your inventory
@Pokétwo#8236 [next|n|forward]
- To go to the next page
@Pokétwo#8236 [previous|prev|back|b]
- To go to the previous page
@Pokétwo#8236 [last|l]
- To go to the last page of your inventory
@Pokétwo#8236 [go|g|page] <page-number>
- To jump to a specific page of your inventory
As you acquire more and more pokémon, it will get harder and harder to find specific pokémon in your inventory. That's where filters come in.
You can use various filters with the @Pokétwo#8236 pokemon [filters]
command to filter the pokémon that are shown. The filters that are supported with this command are:
For more info on a specific filter, click its name in the above list. To know more about filters in general, please visit Search Filters
By default, your inventory is going to be sorted by the order each pokémon was acquired; They will be sorted by their ID. But this can be changed to either of the following order methods using the @Pokétwo#8236 [order|or] <order-method>
:
number
- Sort by pokémon ID (default is ascending)
iv
- Sort by pokémon ID (default is descending)
level
- Sort by pokémon level (default is descending)
pokedex
- Sort by pokémons' pokedex ID (default is ascending)
Add a +
or -
to the end of either of these to sort by ascending
or descending
respectively. Otherwise, it will use their respective defaults.
Sometimes when releasing, trading, selling, or other ways in which you can remove/acquire pokémon from your inventory, there may be problems with the IDs of your pokémon such as skipping an ID, 2 pokémon having the same ID, some IDs missing, etc.
Such problems with pokémons' IDs can be fixed using the command @Pokétwo#8236 reindex
. After you send the command, you will be asked to wait until it is complete. The time it takes to reindex depends on how many pokémon you have.
Example:
As you can see in this image, after releasing a pokémon there is a gap in my inventory where the ID 4 is missing
Now, we can fix this using the reindex
command, shown as follows:
You can select a pokémon using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [select|s] <pokémon-id>
. Your selected pokémon levels up from your chat activity. Your selected pokémon will be the default for commands that need pokémon ID but one isn't passed. Your selected pokémon will also be safe from being released, sold, or traded.
Whenever you send messages (with an interval of 1.5 seconds), the pokémon will gain a random amount of XP between 10 and 40. Commands do not count.
When your selected pokémon reaches the XP requirement, it will level up to the next level, resetting the XP and increasing the XP requirement by 25. The XP requirement starts from 275 (at level 1) and ends at 2750 (at level 100).
Some pokémon like mint shinies may lose value if there is XP on them. You can prevent your selected pokémon from gaining XP by buying and equipping an XP blocker for 150 pokécoins using @Pokétwo#8236 buy xp blocker
.
A safe way to equip an XP blocker on a pokèmon is to buy the XP blocker on a different pokémon and then move it, because otherwise, you may accidentally gain XP:
Select a different pokémon using @Pokétwo#8236 select <pokémon-id>
Buy an XP blocker using @Pokétwo#8236 buy xp blocker
Move the item using @Pokétwo#8236 [moveitem|mvi] <ID of pokémon that you want to protect>
You can prevent your selected pokémon from evolving by buying an Everstone for 150 pokécoins using @Pokétwo#8236 buy everstone
. The pokémon will still gain XP and level up however, just will not evolve under any circumstances.
You can see the info of your pokémon such as IVs, level, nature, etc using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [info|i] <pokémon-id>
. if no ID is passed, it will show the info of the selected pokémon.
In the following sections, the commands support the input of multiple IDs. You can use this tool that I have made, to copy IDs from embeds sent by Pokétwo. Just copy and paste the embed into this tool and it will automatically extract the IDs and let you copy them all or individually.
To favorite one or more pokémon by ID, use the command @Pokétwo#8236 [favorite|fav] <pokémon-ids>
. E.g. @Pokétwo#8236 favorite 123 4567 89
.
Similarly, you can unfavorite one or more pokémon by ID using @Pokétwo#8236 [unfavorite|unfav] <pokémon-ids>
. E.g. @Pokétwo#8236 unfavorite 123 4567 89
.
You can also favorite pokémon in bulk using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [favoriteall|favall|fa] [filters]
where you can use many filters to favorite groups of pokémon.
Similarly, you can unfavorite pokémon in bulk using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [unfavoriteall|unfavall|ufa] [filters]
where you can use many filters to unfavorite groups of pokémon.
You may have noticed some pokémon having extra text next to their name within quotes. That is a nickname. These are quite useful for organizing your pokémon, but can also act as a way to remember different pokémon and distinguish them.
To nickname pokémon, use the command @Pokétwo#8236 [nickname|nick] <pokémon-id> <nickname>
To reset the nickname of a pokémon, do the same thing but reset
as the nickname: @Pokétwo#8236 nickname <pokémon-id> reset
.
You can also nickname pokémon in bulk by using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [nicknameall|nickall|na] <nickname> [filters]
and use filters to nickname groups of pokémon.
Similarly, you can un-nickname pokémon in bulk by nicknaming them reset
using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [nicknameall|nickall|na] reset [filters]
and using filters to un-nickname groups of pokémon.
At one point when you have been acquiring pokémon a lot, you will find pokémon that are simply useless to you that you want to get rid of to debloat your inventory.
Such can be done using the @Pokétwo#8236 release <pokémon-ids>
where you can provide multiple IDs to release for 2 pokécoins each. Releasing a pokémon will permanently remove it from the bot, so please use it with caution.
You can also release pokémon in bulk by using the command @Pokétwo#8236 [releaseall|ra] [filters]
and use filters to release groups of pokémon.
Trading in Pokétwo is the direct exchange of goods with other users. Items that can be traded include Pokémon, Pokécoins and Redeems.
To initiate a trade: p!trade @UserMention - This starts a trade with the mentioned user
Alias p!trade @Var_Monke
To add Pokecoins, use p!trade add pc <pokecoin_amount> Alias p!t a pc <pokecoin_amount>
To remove Pokecoins, use p!trade remove pc <pokecoin_amount> Alias p!t a pc <pokecoin_amount>
To add redeems, use p!trade add redeem <redeem_amount> Alias p!t a r <redeem_amount>
To remove redeems, us p!trade remove redeem <redeem_amount> Alias p!t r r <redeem_amount>
To view the info/stats of the Pokémon in a trade, use p!trade info <pokémon_id> Alias p!t i <pokémon_id>
Checking the stats of the Pokémon before accepting a trade is important. Scamming with Pokémon of the same IV, but different stats is common. Beware of such scams.
Trade Scamming is very common. Check if you're trading with the real bot. The real will always have a Check Mark along side the "bot" attribute. Check the bot's tag, which is Pokétwo#8236.
On this page, you will learn about the different ways in which pokémon Evolve, how to change the Forms of certain pokémon and Mega Evolutions
@Pokétwo#8236 pokedex <pokémon-name>
- To view information about a pokémon, including its evolution information.
@Pokétwo#8236 shop <page-number>
- To view items in the shop.
@Pokétwo#8236 select <pokémon-id>
- To select a pokémon
@Pokétwo#8236 buy <item-name>
- To buy an item from the shop.
@Pokétwo#8236 moveitem <from-pokémon-id> <to-pokémon-id>
- To move a held-item from one pokémon to another.
@Pokétwo#8236 dropitem
- To permanently remove the held item of the selected pokémon.
@Pokétwo#8236 time
- To view the current time in a server.
@Pokétwo#8236 location <location>
- To change the location (and time) of a server.
@Pokétwo#8236 trade @user
- To perform trades with other users.
@Pokétwo#8236 unmega
- To permanently un-mega a mega pokémon (no refund).
To see how a pokémon evolves, run the command @Pokétwo#8236 pokedex <pokémon-name>
and it will show the evolution method under the Evolution heading.
However, some of these evolution descriptions can be confusing. You can find the details about all methods of evolution on this page.
Most pokémon evolve by leveling up to a certain level.
When your selected pokémon reaches the XP requirement, it will level up to the next level, resetting the XP and increasing the XP requirement by 25. The XP requirement starts from 275 (at level 1) and ends at 2750 (at level 100).
These items will help with pokémon that evolve via leveling up:
Rare Candies - 75 pokécoins - Instantly levels your selected pokémon up by 1
XP Booster 0 - 20 pokécoins - Doubles the XP gain for 30 minutes
XP Booster 1 - 40 pokécoins - Doubles the XP gain for 1 hour
XP Booster 2 - 70 pokécoins - Doubles the XP gain for 2 hours
XP Booster 3 - 100 pokécoins - Doubles the XP gain for 3 hours
XP boosters are recommended over Rare Candies, they cost much less and provide much more if you have the patience.
For pokémon that have collection value such as shinies and event pokémon, their level and XP have an effect on the value. In such a situation, you can buy an XP blocker to prevent XP gain (and leveling) on that pokémon.
@Pokétwo#8236 buy xp blocker
Price: 150 pokécoins
An XP Blocker will prevent a pokémon from gaining any XP (from messages) and hence stop its leveling.
Sometimes there might be a need to prevent a pokémon from evolving. This can be because you are collecting the pokémon or other reasons. In such a case, you can buy an Everstone to disable the evolution of a pokémon.
@Pokétwo#8236 buy everstone
Price: 150 pokécoins
An Everstone will disable evolution for a pokémon while it is holding one. It can be unequipped by using @Pokétwo#8236 moveitem <from-pokémon-id> <to-pokémon-id>
to move to another pokémon, or removed permanently using @Pokétwo#8236 dropitem
.
Some pokémon's pokedex entry may say that they "evolve somehow". This unfortunately means that the evolution of this pokémon is currently not implemented into the bot, and hence cannot be obtained through evolution. Instead, you will have to rely on other sources such as the market and catching to obtain such a pokémon.
Their evolution is planned and will be implemented in a future update.
Some pokémon evolve when leveled up at particular times; daytime or nighttime. Each server can have its own location, which will have its real-life time. The default is San Francisco, USA, the timezone of which is PST (GMT-8).
@Pokétwo#8236 time
- Command to check the current time of the server
@Pokétwo#8236 location <real-life location with desired time>
- Command to change the location of the server, which will change the time of the server to that of the location.
Some pokémon need to be traded in order to evolve.
Steps to perform such an evolution:
Start a trade with another user or alt account (recommended) using @Pokétwo#8236 trade @user
.
Add the pokémon to the trade using @Pokétwo#8236 trade add <pokémon-ids>
or by bulk using @Pokétwo#8236 trade addall <filters>
. E.g. @Pokétwo#8236 trade addall --name Pumpkaboo
.
Confirm the trade (both users) using @Pokétwo#8236 trade confirm
.
Some pokémon need to be given a particular item to evolve.
Select the pokémon you want to buy an item for (@Pokétwo#8236 select <pokémon-id>
) and run the buy command (@Pokétwo#8236 buy <item-name>
) for the respective item. After that, follow the instructions in the pokémon's pokedex entry to evolve it (e.g. some need to be leveled up, some may need to be traded, etc).
Listed below are the different items and the pokémon that need them to evolve. These items can be found on the shop pages 2 and 4 (@Pokétwo#8236 shop <page-number>
).
They all cost 150 pokécoins.
@Pokétwo#8236 buy friendship bracelet
In the official pokémon games, some pokémon need a certain level of friendship status to evolve. This friendship system is not a part of Pokétwo. Instead, those pokémon now evolve by leveling up while holding this item, the friendship bracelet. Listed below are the pokémon that evolve using this item.

In the official games, Feebas evolves to Milotic when leveled up while holding this item. However, this is not the case in Pokétwo and instead, Feebas evolves by just leveling up, making this item completely useless.
@Pokétwo#8236 buy whipped dream
@Pokétwo#8236 buy sachet
Similarly to Evolution While Holding An Item, some pokémon transform into their forms when given certain items, available for purchase on page 3 of the shop.
Select the pokémon you want to buy an item for (@Pokétwo#8236 select <pokémon-id>
) and run the buy command (@Pokétwo#8236 buy <item-name>
) for the respective item.
They all cost 150 pokécoins
Once transformed into its form, a pokémon cannot be transformed back into its base form.

When a Pokémon undergoes Mega Evolution, its base stats change, except for its HP, and it may even acquire a different type than before. It's worth noting that every Mega-Evolved Pokémon possesses a base stat total that is 100 points higher than its unevolved form.
In Pokétwo, eligible pokémon can be Mega Evolved by buying a Mega Evolution from the shop (page 6). using the command @Pokétwo#8236 buy <item-name>
.
3 types of Mega Evolutions can be purchased from the shop. They all cost 1000 pokécoins.
In Pokétwo, Kyogre and Groudon attain their Primal forms via Mega Evolution.

Used to mega evolve pokémon to their generic Mega Evolution.
@Pokétwo#8236 buy x mega evolution
Used to mega evolve eligible pokémon to their X Mega Evolution.
@Pokétwo#8236 buy y mega evolution

On this page you will learn about filters usable in various commands such as pokemon, market search, auction search, etc to narrow down your search to find the exact pokémon you're looking for.
Filters are named according to their general purpose. E.g. the --name
filter searches by the name of pokémon. They are case-sensitive, meaning that, e.g. --Name
will not work; It must be all lowercase.
Filters can be used alongside each other and for further filtration, unless they serve the same general purpose. E.g.
Some filters can also be used more than once in a command to filter with a wider range of criteria of the same kind. E.g.
All the filters in alphabetical order.
Filter for regional variant of pokémon that come from the Alola region and identify as alolan forms.
